In my role as the Creative Director for Kinnarps, I was responsible for the overall spatial concepts, interior design direction, and visual language of the environments. The ambition was to build a set of interior worlds that clearly expressed Kinnarps’ philosophy: sustainable design, ergonomic thinking, and adaptable solutions for the evolving workplace.
Each space was designed as a narrative — from open collaborative areas and learning environments to quiet focus zones and social hubs. The interiors were intentionally kept minimal and architectural, allowing the furniture to take centre stage while still creating distinct atmospheres through colour, materials, and light.
The concepts were developed to reflect the diversity of contemporary work and learning spaces:
A restrained architectural language formed the foundation, with soft colours, natural materials, and generous light. Within this framework, Kinnarps’ furniture becomes the primary storyteller, demonstrating functionality, comfort, and adaptability in context.
After developing the interior concepts and spatial narratives, the final high-end renderings were produced by Industriromantik, working under my creative direction. This collaboration ensured that every visual detail — from material expression to lighting and composition — aligned with the overall concept and brand intent.
The resulting visualisations present a coherent and forward-looking interpretation of the Kinnarps workplace. Rather than isolated product shots, the interiors communicate complete environments — spaces designed for people, performance, and the future of work.
