BEU. A lifestyle brand launching this spring.

Serial entrepreneur and former snowboard professional Johan Ronnestam launches a new Scandinavian lifestyle brand together with former manager of Daniel Wellington – first out is a new watch concept designed in SwedenThe story of BEU started back in 2013. The serial entrepreneur and former snowboard professional Johan Ronnestam asked himself the question if it would be possible to create a brand that could inspire people to achieve their personal goals and visions. Over the years, Johan’s driving force has taken him all over the world where he has developed a great number of successful companies. With BEU he wants to create a global movement, which will inspire people to go their own way, starting off by releasing their first symbolic product; a watch.After an investment round during the fall, a strong team is now set and the brand will be ready to launch globally this spring. The launch will focus on the first product; a new watch collection of five unique watch models along with associated bracelets. The company has developed a new type of silicone bracelet where the user quickly can change the appearance of the watch from a dressed look to a more functional and sporty style.- “BEU is founded to inspire people around the world to challenge themselves to live the life they actually want, no matter what other people think. Our vision and manifest have resulted in the creation of a watch, which is both a product and a symbol that you will always carry with you as a reminder of this statement”, says Johan Ronnestam, founder of BEU.In conjunction with the launch of BEU, a community will be formed with selected profiles from all over the world, all dared to go their own way. This community includes a mix of entrepreneurs, artists, musicians, cultural profiles along with sport professionals. The community will also be part of future product developments together with BEU.In November 2017, the company decided to raise 4 million SEK in external capital. After only 10 days, BEU significantly oversubscribed the set goal with 25% and today, several investors are on board. All with global networks in product development, communications and retail.- With the internet as the main driving force, new technologies have emerged that enable companies in Sweden to design their own technical consumer products from scratch and then reach all over the world. The watch is designed in Sweden with Johan as the leading Creative Director along with a team of Mattias, Oskar and Niclas, all world leaders in product development. Former manager of Daniel Wellington, Julia Brorson takes on the role as the CEO of the company.
